[18607] Lay shaft for Elcon drive train

This lay shaft is made for use on the Elcon drive train in combination with the helical gears. The lay shaft is made from stainless steel and is hollow to reduce weight. To reinforce the shaft on the place where the grubs are tightened we pressed in delrin pieces. |
[18660] Helical gear set

Helical gear set of 4 gearwheels. The gears have a helical teeth profile for a smoother and more dureable transmission. The gears are all made from steel and are hardened. The small gears (pinions) are secured with 4 grub screws. The gear set has a ratio 7,11 with following gears: Z1 - 19T |
Different ratios are possible with the upgrade set 18670.
For mounting the Z2 gear partnumber 18606 is needed (gear carrier layshaft).

This upgrade set gives you the possibility to set different gear ratios on your car, for a better set-up on each track. The set consists of 3 small pinion gears: Z1 - 18T Z1 - 20T Z3 - 17T |
Different ratios are possible with this upgrade set.
All gears have 4 grubscrews to tighten them on the shaft.
[18690] Alloy gear carrier

The gear carrier can be used to replace the plastic gear on the layshaft for a more durable steel gear. The large FG 48t gear (part no. FG 6048/2) bolts right onto the carrier. All the necessary bolts for mounting are included. |

The roller bearings have a rubber seal to protect the bearings from dirt and sand. Size (inside diameter x outside diameter x width): 10x19x7mm. Used on the layshaft. Packed as a set of 2 bearings. |
